ICQ recently, once again released a new version of their known Instant Messenger.
The ICQ software is now available in Bulgarian, Danish, German, English, Spanish, Estonian, French, Hungarian, Italian, Dutch, Polnish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Finnish, Swedish and Hebrew.

Along with the new forums, a  redesign and even more changes, now, the website of ‘AnimeSharp – animating people’ was updated. Something here and there might not work yet as intended and there are a lot of further changes planned. We are looking forward to BETA Feedback from you, the visitors and users, as well as introducing new ideas from YOU.

The ICQ6 Sample Skin was updated and should now work fine with the new version.

Due to security and virus problems, the server has been offline recently. The problems and threats have been fixed now, however you might still experience slow page load. Sorry for the caused inconvenience.

Due to a datasystem or network failure some data was lost. Some parts of Boxely.de and the forums couldn’t be recovered. The parts of the forums refer to file attachments and have been replaced with newer versions.

ICQ6 Build 5400 is available.

Some bugs were found in the Sample ICQ Skin. They have been fixed now, please redownload it. If you still find something, you can’t change, or think of it being a bug, post in the forums.

The Sample Skin got a huge Update, just now. It now offers you the following possibilities:

• about all font/background colors can be modified
• nearly all nescessary Images are changeable
• moving/resizing the close, minimize and maximize/restore buttons
• full phone xtra control
• full coming_up xtra control
• move/resize the toaster windows
• changing nearly all font styles
• using background images for the contact list
• sizing the main window (contact list)
• modifying the corner radius of all windows 
• redesign the tooltips
• styling the suggest pop-up and input fields
• fixed rectangular behaviors (not properly styled by default)
• fixed more xtraz tabs button (not properly styled by default)
• fixed about dialog (not properly styled by default)
• typing indicator centered back as it was in Build 5354
• compatible with all versions since Build 5381

Due to some problems the release of the complete German translation of the Boxely documentation will be delayed. However the unfinished version is to be released anyway, August 1st.

ICQ6 Build 5397 was released.

Recently we were facing some problems with the mySQL database, rendering the news and forums inaccessible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The BitTorrent Tracker caused some problems, and due to that was once again disabled.

The httpd server service was reinstalled, because it was crashing periodly due to some corrupt files. Some port changes were made, and the mail service is online. The BitTorrent Tracker is available again, however without content.

Some party tried to hack the httpd server here, site is back online.

Some changes in the PHP configuration aswell as an Update. Hope it’ll run fine now (for now it does). The forums should now run without any problems. Please register and post.

We were told by a Boxely staff member at AOL, We could release translations, and stuff about Boxely as long as We do not put advertisements on that site. As We are not doing such things, working non-profit, We have set up the mainpage now. You can visit it on boxely.de. We are aiming August 1st this year for the release of the fully German documentation. Please be patient, and stay notified for what’ll be going on.

Soon, new offerings will be here. We have been archiving Skins, and asked several people if We may release their creations here.
